How to use Be My Parent to find adoptive and foster families for children

Be My Parent is a family-finding service for children in the UK who need adoptive or permanent foster families. Be My Parent is run by the British Association for Adoption & Fostering (BAAF) and has a website and monthly newspaper.

To find out more about using Be My Parent, and how you can refer a child or group of children, we advise you to explore the links on the upper left-hand side of this page.

If you are searching for a child on behalf of a family, have a look at some of the children's profiles currently on Be My Parent online. To read more, search all the children and make enquiries, you will need to contact us and get set up to use the online system. Independent fostering agencies and voluntary adoption agencies who are BAAF members can now use our service FOR FREE!. For non-members, an annual fee of £150 will be payable.
