Reading adoption and fostering information evening, Reading
Parents and Children Together (PACT) runs informal evenings for couples or individuals interested in adoption or fostering. Each event is led by a PACT social worker and will include a talk from someone who has adopted or fostered through PACT.

Peterborough Adoption are a small, dynamic, local authority agency with impressive approval rates, and are looking for new applicants.

North East Adoption Information Event
Do you have questions about adoption? Durham County Council information events are a great chance for you to go along and chat with their experienced social workers and adoptive parents to find out what adoption is all about. You don't need to book a place and can call in any time throughout the session. They are happening on the following days:
28 February, 2pm-4pm at Durham Town Hall, Durham City
Thursday 27 March, 4.30pm-6.30pm, Gala Theatre, Durham City
LGBT Fostering and Adoption with Stockton Borough Council drop-in event
If you’re lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and thinking about starting a family, go along to the drop-in event and get information about fostering and adoption with Stockton Council. Social workers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have around the process and the support available to you, and there will also be an opportunity to meet LGBT families who can share their experiences of fostering and adoption.
The event is on Tuesday 18 March 5pm-7pm at Stockton Central Library (Jim Cooke Conference Suite), Church Road, Stockton on Tees, TS18 1TU
Staffordshire County Council Adoption Information Meeting
Staffordshire County Council are holding adoption sessions providing information about adopting with them and what it is really like. The sessions are friendly, relaxed and are led by their specialised social workers. Go along, take all the information away with you and just listen. There's also the option to have a confidential chat with one of their social workers.

Adoption information evenings take place on the first Thursday of the month excluding January and August.
Adoption North London information evenings
Adoption North London is a partnership of six agencies: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington. St Francis' Children's Society holds adoption information evenings on the first Wednesday of every month.
Interested in adoption in Enfield?
Every year, there are thousands of children throughout the UK needing a new permanent family. In Enfield, there are children from many different backgrounds, cultures and religions, and Enfield adoption service needs new families to reflect this. Children may be placed for adoption as single children, or with their brothers or sisters.
