Could you be a foster carer in Greater Manchester and make a difference?
If you are interested in becoming a foster carer, or want to find out more information about what it takes, then why not go along to an information day in June. You will be able to meet existing foster carers and social workers, and find out what it's like working with children in the care system.
The National Fostering Agency (NFA) is one of the most established independent fostering agencies in the country, committed to providing quality care for the children placed with them. They provide training for all their carers, who also receive support from their highly-qualified staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
NFA are currently recruiting foster carers across Greater Manchester so take the chance to make a difference to a child’s life. They are particularly interested in hearing from you if you are considering fostering children aged 11+, sibling groups or children and young people with complex needs.

Camden open information evenings

They are looking for carers to provide emergency, short term and permanent accommodation and care for children from a diverse range of backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures and religions. Do you live in the Tameside area and have the skills to foster?
The Tameside Fostering Unit is looking to recruit foster carers with high levels of commitment, time and a good understanding of children’s needs.
They currently need placements for children aged 0 - 17 years of age from a diverse range of backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures and religions. They are particularly looking for black and mixed heritage foster carers. Some of their children have complex needs due to their early life experiences.
