- If you subscribe to the Be My Parent service to view profiles of children, that we will pass your details to the child’s social worker, if you enquire about that child. Your details will be used to determine your suitability to parent that child, and to make contact with you to explain all this.
- If you subscribe or make a donation to Be My Parent, we will pass your details to our payment provider, Pay Point, in order to obtain your payment. We will not store your credit card details on our servers.
- If, when registering to this website, you have ticked the box "Yes, I would like to receive further communications", we may use your given contact details to send you information about Be My Parent or BAAF by email. If at any time you wish to stop receiving these emails, please click on the link at the end of the email. Your details will be removed from our database immediately.
- If you contact us regarding the website we shall use the details you provide to reply to you. We try to respond to all feedback where a valid email address is included. If you make a comment or complaint about other aspects of the service, we may use your details to investigate your comments.
All data obtained by Be My Parent is held and used in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
